We are running 8 week group exercise programs to support those who would like to stay connected and mobile from the comfort of their own home.

Our 8-week telewellness program is designed to engage and motivate participants through 45 minute exercise sessions. The participants are guided through exercises which will target strength, cardiovascular, balance, mobility and coordination.

Telehealth sessions

We encourage the participants to join in as many times as they can during the 8-week program as we run live sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am each week. Joining the live exercise sessions has become a part of participants routine as they look forward to the regular sessions.

This 8-week exercise program not only helps your clients to stay active and mobile in their own home but it has grown into a space where participants are engaging freely in conversations before and after the sessions, making it a wonderful way to stay connected and social.

At the end of each week we email our participants new exercises, recipes, and links to our pre-recorded videos to assist in keeping motivated and active.

What’s required to participate
  • A clear 2x2m space to move around in
  • Access to a computer, smart phone or i-pad/tablet with internet connection to watch and follow the exercise trainer
  • Wear comfortable clothing with stable shoes to exercise in.
  • A stable, firm chair (dining chair is reccomended)
  • Equipment pack (provided by Summit Health)
  • Sense of humor and willingness to give it a go

FAQ’s

What if the participant does not have internet/smart phone or computer?
We provide participants with a toll-free phone number that they can use to engaged in the session.

What will be provided for the program?
The client will be provided with an Exercise kit including a work-booklet with exercises, and thera-bands. During the week we send out emails with additional balance and stretch exercises, recipes and other motivating information.

What are the times and days of the sessions? 
Live sessions run Monday, Wednesday and Fridays at 10am each day.

How many sessions can the client participate in?
Participants can join as many sessions as they wish each week for the 8 weeks using the link or telephone number provided.

What else does the participant need?
A clear 2m x 2m space with access to viewing the computer or using telephone. Stable firm cushioned chair (dining chair is recommended) and equipment provided.
