Our proud history
Summit Health Solution’s name is one of determination and compassion. It was rooted in 2008 when Summit Health Physio Australia Pvt. Ltd commenced its journey by offering Allied Health services exclusively within Residential Aged Care facilities in Queensland. At the core of our mission was the heartfelt desire to address the pain management needs of elderly residents. This task brought fulfillment and challenges to our dedicated team.
However, as time passed, it became increasingly evident that the aging population faced a shortage of available rooms in aged care facilities. Recognizing this pressing issue, Director Peta Weisfelt embarked on a quest to discover alternative ways to extend support to the growing number of aging Australian citizens.
In 2015, a significant chapter in our history unfolded as Peta relocated to Canberra, Australia’s Capital Territory, only to witness that the challenge was still prevalent.
With the unwavering support of her husband, Craig Roxburgh (Director of Summit Health Solutions), Peta embarked on a transformative journey. The vision was to create a mobile allied health team comprising Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Allied Health Assistants within Exercise, Massage and Nail care. This remarkable team was to bring unique services right into the homes of those in need.

Peta Weisfelt
Director / Physiotherapist
The main reason why Peta turned Summit Health Solutions to focus on aged care was to meet a growing need to assist seniors to age within the comfort of their own homes and to be close to their known community, friends and family members. Peta created a team of health professionals dedicated to the same cause and it appears to be working.
Craig Roxburgh
Director / Exercise Science
Craig brings to the team years of experience working, teaching and mentoring others in the areas of exercise and fitness.
Craig is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Payroll, Billing and Finance department.
